Teething

Poor Monster he really is a Monster these past few weeks. He’s been teething since 4th December. 3 teeth have arrived in that time and number 4 is pretty much through but still causing him trouble. Teething in this house means not sleeping much, drinking more milk, being off food, generally wanting cuddles or just crying & squirming and not knowing what to do
To top it all off, Monster has had what I am now calling teething tummy - a bit like Delhi Belly! Ad of course, teething tummy comes with his lovely friend - a bright red bottom! Poor baby.

Just noticed you struggling on heroically with the blog, despite the depressing phrase ‘No Comments’ at the bottom of each post… Just wanted to say that people (or at least, person) are reading and it’s much appreciated.
My daughter is a just a month or so younger than Monster, and we’re also experiencing Teething Hell - one at the top front is through, and the other is so close I’m expecting it to break daily. Consequently, the eating is all a bit hit and miss, and the night-waking has stepped up a notch, much to my dismay!
Thanks Ruth. I know there aren’t many comments but I reckon there are lots of people out there like me - I read all the BLW blogs and more but rarely comment as we talk so much on the forum. Have you joined us?

Teething is almost finished and we had a GOOD NIGHT last night!!
Oh yes, I’m obsessed with the forum - just browsing the recipe section at the moment, in fact!
